200 hours in SGV & Co. as an intern. It’s shocking I passed their entrance exam.
At first, I was nervous and all…but they just gave me simple tasks to do. Not terrifying at all. In fact, they didn’t ask me to do anything at all. 
That’s why I spent more time with my PSP. I had solved a lot of Sudoku puzzles, watched 4 movies, and read 2 novels. -_- [The movie All About Steve is cute and funny!] I also visited my classmates in different floors to kill time. 😉 We visited each other then started hunting the cute guys. Bear with us; we don’t have boys in our school. LOL.
I met new people like my fellow OJT’s from different schools. Hmmm. The employees are friendly and helpful. Also inspiring? Haha. I don’t blame some of them who got mad or laughed at me for the stupid things I did. 😛 Btw, I think I need to improve my sleeping habit because I easily forget what my boss just instructed me to do. D:
I experienced being in the field for one day. They just asked me to vouch. I’m so blind I couldn’t vouch ‘em all. HAHAHA.
So, that’s my not-so-detailed OJT experience. I can see myself working in there someday. TOINK! Hahaha.

i’m not really sure because our school already did the work for our application. we just had to give the requirements. i think you should call the company first. hmmm…
what are the topics included in the exam? is it hard? do they conduct interview? you are from what school? I hope you can reply with my comment. i really want to have my ojt in sgv. Btw, do they give allowance??? thanks
Exam includes Auditing, English, and basic Acctg. I don’t exactly remember sorry. Haha but I’m sure you’ll pass. No more interview. I’m from Miriam College. I think it’s P150 a day.

Yes! No need to review! Rely on your stocked knowledge. You can even talk to your seatmate without them seeing. But I’m not telling you to do that. Haha. I don’t know how they do their exams now.
hello, i just want to ask kung kelan ka nag ojt? is it summer? kc parang may nabalitan ako na hindi tumtanggap ng trainees ang SGV pagsummer. 3 sets yung exam? ano yung time limit sa exam? Thank you so much
March29-May11. That was a year ago. SGV wasn’t that busy anymore at that time so maybe that’s the reason they want an earlier OJT whatever. 1-2 hrs. NP. 🙂

20-30? Not sure. Haha. Yeah, they assigned interns to different partners. You have to fill up sheets/forms whatever. :)NP. 🙂
Sorry if I’m being makulit. Did they set the internship period for you? If you have to be absent for a few days, is that allowed? Can you make up for the hours by extending your OJT? Was there a situation like that you saw last year? Kinakabahan ako. They might drop me off the program because of those absences. 😦
The school did the setting up of the internship period. It’s OK to be absent!! 🙂 Just make-up for it. 😉

It depends on where you’ll get assigned. There are areas where they are really busy and you’ll learn a lot…be asked to do more than just footing fs. And there are areas where you’ll be asked just to foot or deliver fs or photocopy. Haha.

Ate BSA grad kba? Nasabi mo kanina na there are times na busy sila at marami kang natutunan. Pedeng pa-specify kung anu mismo yung ginagawa nila during those busy times?
Yup. BSA. I wasn’t assigned to the busy department. Some of my classmates were and they usually vouch, deliver papers, operate microsoft excel, etc. They ven go to field work.
And, plus. sa Makati lang ba talaga yung office ng SGV? Kasi ang layo ng place namin dun. Thanks so much ate. God bless you more 😀
